Cultivating a peaceful, passionate practice: How to incorporate props into your practice

Whether you are a student wanting to better understand the use of props for personal practice, or a teacher wanting to dive deeper into Yoga Therapeutics/Restorative Yoga and one-to-one seasons with clients, this session will help you to create a balance between a peaceful and a powerful practice. Ahimsa (compassion) and aligned movement in Asana (postures) all come together to form the perfect marriage of your Yoga practice with the intelligent use of props. Weaving in personal inspiration, this passionate practice will help you integrate the discerning use of props as tools to enhance and bring support in a way that meets your body where it’s at. We will finish with prop supported restorative poses that will lead you into a savasana bliss. (This session suggests that you bring 2 blocks, a strap (10’ is ideal), and either a thick, long towel or bolster. Props are not required to take this session. There will be a limited first come first serve to available props.)
